A new fan experience, dubbed “Le Palet d’Or” Acte2i, has been launched at the Polesud arena during the playoffs of the Synerglace Ligue Magnus, France’s premier ice hockey league. The promotion, announced by the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble, offers spectators a chance to win a unique opportunity to present the “étoile du match” (player of the match) award.
During the first intermission of each playoff game, a ticket holder will be randomly selected. The winner will receive the “Palet d’Or” Acte2i – the Golden Puck – and will then be invited onto the ice following the game to present the trophy, awarded by Vin à Cœur, to the player voted as the game’s best performer by the public. The initiative is sponsored by Acte2i.
The Synerglace Ligue Magnus playoffs began on Friday, March 8, 2024, and could continue through Wednesday, April 17, 2024, if a seventh game is required in any series. The league has seen increasing attendance figures, surpassing 700,000 total attendees during the 2025-2026 regular season, marking a fourth consecutive year of growth. The current season saw teams like the Dragons de Rouen and the Aigles de Nice competing for top positions, with Nice having a particularly strong start to the season.
The league recently concluded its awards ceremony for the 2025-2026 season on March 9, recognizing 13 individual laureates for their performance throughout the year. The quarterfinals and a separate pool for teams vying to avoid relegation commenced on Friday, March 8, with games being broadcast on Magnus.TV.
Tickets for games, and thus a chance to participate in the “Palet d’Or” Acte2i promotion, are available through the Brûleurs de Loups’ online ticketing platform.
