Exclusive translation: Futsal player Shane Ryan, 33, attacked his friend while he was exercising at Next Level Gym in Palmerston, southeast of Darwin in Australia following he intentionally dropped a 20kg weight on him.
The video showed his friend lying on a bench lifting the dumbbells. Security camera footage showed Ryan lifting his weight of 20 kilograms and walking towards him, before he pretended to have an ankle injury and the weight fell on his head.
Ryan, nicknamed the Big Horse, got away when his friend fell from the seat and put his hands on his bleeding head, but he eventually returned to the scene, called an ambulance and sat with the man until help arrived.
