After that, the Council of Ministers was briefed on the content of the talks that took place between the Kingdom and a number of countries in the past days, including the two letters received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, from His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Morocco, and related to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and ways to support them. And strengthening them in various fields, as well as the content of the phone call made by His Highness the Crown Prince to His Excellency the President of Ukraine, during which the Kingdom’s position in support of everything that contributes to reducing the escalation in Ukraine, and its willingness to continue mediation efforts, was confirmed.
Visit of the President of South Africa to Jeddah
The Council also touched on the overall discussions of His Highness the Crown Prince with the President of the Republic of South Africa, and the results of his official visit to the Kingdom in signing agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries with an estimated value of more than $15 billion, and agreement on the importance of strengthening joint action; In order to advance the bilateral relations between the two countries to new and promising horizons in various fields.
In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs and Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, stated that the Cabinet welcomed the signing of partnerships and agreements by the private sector in the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman aimed at opening up prospects for cooperation in the growth of the digital economy. – Dr. Nasser bin Mabrouk bin Muhammad Al-Nuwaiser is promoted to the position of (financial advisor) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
– Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Hamdan is promoted to the position of (legal advisor) at rank (14th) at the Ministry of Commerce.
– Mashari bin Rashid bin Dabbas Al-Dabbas is promoted to the position of Director General, rank (14) at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.
– Ibrahim bin Fahd bin Jasir Al-Zakari is promoted to the position of (Business Adviser) at the (14th) rank at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
– Abdul Salam bin Nasser bin Muhammad Abdul Salam is promoted to the position of (Business Adviser) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
– Mansour bin Abdullah bin Othman Al-Ghamdi is promoted to the position of (Information Technology Engineering Technology Adviser) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
– Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Shabanat is promoted to the position of (General Manager) at the (14th) rank at the Ministry of Health.

During the second year of the eighth session, the Shura Council held fifty-three (53) sessions, resulting in three hundred and ninety-six (396) decisions as follows: Sixty-seven decisions (67) related to rules and regulations, two hundred and ten decisions (210) related to annual reports, and one hundred Nineteen (119) resolutions related to agreements, treaties and memoranda of understanding, and the total number of meetings of all council committees during the end of the consultative year reached two hundred and fifty-two (252) meetings, during which more than two hundred and eighty-five (285) government officials were met to obtain clarification from them regarding the topics studied by the council committees .
According to your generous directives, the Shura Council is keen to strengthen cooperation with the regional councils in the Kingdom, and this is represented through mutual visits. In the last Shura year, the Council made four visits to the district councils in: Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Jazan and the northern borders.

The State Duma ratifies the accession of the new regions to Russia

The Constitutional Court of Russia has ratified documents submitted by President Vladimir Putin, regarding the accession of the republics of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to the country.
According to Russia Today, the four decisions were published on the website of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
