Madrid: The Spanish football club has released Barcelona striker Martin Brathwaite. Barca authorities clarified that the player was excluded by mutual agreement. Brathwaite is preparing to join Espanyol in Spain.
Brathwaite went on to make 58 appearances for Barca. Brathwaite arrived at Barca from Leganes in February 2020. The relationship between the club and the star was strained following he refused to take a pay cut.
