AGF Marostica and Gih Expand Globally with New Luxury Collections
June 28, 2025 – In a significant development for the fashion industry, AGF Marostica and Gih, two prominent Vicenza clothing brands, have announced robust growth and international expansion. The brands, created in collaboration with renowned designer Giovanni Palermo, showcased their spring-summer 2026 collections at Pitti Uomo 108, marking a new chapter in their journey.
New Collections and Market Expansion
Giovanni Palermo, the designer behind both brands, shared insights with FashionNetwork.com about the new collections. “We’ve covered several gaps of the past, expanding our offer and elevating the product value,” he said. “We’re aiming for a democratic luxury, focusing on higher quality and more luxurious materials.”
The brands have seen notable success in Canada and the United States, with plans to further penetrate the European market, particularly in Scandinavia. AGF and Gih are now distributed in 300 multi-brand stores worldwide.
Innovative Materials and Designs
For the spring-summer 2026 season, AGF introduced a technical wool fabric and a nylon cotton popeline with a crinkle effect. The brand also highlighted its popular nylon bi-stretch and classic linen offerings. Gih, on the other hand, featured jackets in interlock and jerseys with various textures and effects, including bouclé and seersucker.
“We’re rethinking Gih’s offer to include jackets made from fabric or jacket-history, which are highly requested, even by younger consumers,” Palermo explained. “We’re also introducing new colors like black cherry for Gih.”
Business Growth and Future Outlook
AGF represents 80% of the Vicenza group’s turnover, with Gih contributing around 20%. The company reported a 20% growth in 2024, with a double-digit gross operating margin. As the brands continue to innovate and expand, they are poised for even greater success in the coming years.
