Highly decorated goalkeeper Keylor Navas is reportedly en route to Mexico to finalize his transfer to Pumas UNAM.The Costa Rican star is expected to undergo physical adn medical examinations in the coming hours before signing his contract wiht the Mexican club.

Pumas aims to expedite Navas’s integration into the squad. Manager Efraín Juárez is keen to have the veteran goalkeeper in place as a starter for their upcoming match against Querétaro on friday, july 25, marking the third matchday of the season.

The acquisition of Navas would represent a critically importent coup for Pumas. The 37-year-old goalkeeper boasts a glittering career, including a highly successful stint with Real Madrid. There, he was instrumental in the club’s dominance, winning three consecutive Champions League titles.
