Hamburg – Bloody act of violence on Jungfernstieg!
In the Europa-Passage shopping center in downtown Hamburg, a teenager (19) was stabbed in the upper body with a knife on Friday evening and was seriously injured.
The previously unknown perpetrator and other people fled the shopping center following the incident on Friday evening, said a spokeswoman for the Hamburg public prosecutor’s office on Saturday morning.
The act of violence apparently occurred when two groups of young people verbally clashed at the entrance to the passage. When the opponents ran out of words, the dispute escalated.
It is currently unclear why the argument came regarding and whether the two young people knew each other.
The young man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He is currently not in mortal danger, it said.
