Doha: The authorities announced traffic restrictions on Friday due to the ongoing maintenance work on the Red Line route of Doha Metra. Buses will operate for those traveling on this route. It has been announced that bus services will be operated at intervals of minutes on three routes to replace the Red Line Metra. Route 1 is from Al Wakrah to Lusail QNB.
Route two services will be operated from Lusail QNB to Al Wakrah. Shuttle service is the third route between Free Zone and Hamad Airport. Bus service is available every five minutes on route 1 and 2. Route 3 will also be operated at 15 minute intervals. These buses will not stop at Ras Bu Fantas and Katara stations.
At the same time, Metro Link services M126 and M129 will operate to the free zone instead of Ras Bu Fantas. Officials informed that Metro Link and Metro Express services are available as usual.

Three KSEB employees were injured when a car that went out of control hit a transformer that was being repaired.
