Al-Marsad Newspaper: Kuwaiti media, Mai Al-Aidan, responded to her fine, in favor of the Egyptian artist, Ahmed Badir, with 500 dinars, on charges of insulting him regarding two years ago.
And she said in a tweet to her on her official account on Twitter: “Oh, your friend, Ahmed Badir Farhan, with a fine of 500 dinars for the state, originally, not yours, and why did your lawyers not tell you that the ruling is inadmissibility of the civil lawsuit if the court did not give you acceptance of your compensation.”
And she added: “From where do I get money, Jamil, for 500 wages, I pay it in the morning with any representative… And you keep running following me in the courts, and you are 77 years old, may God grant you longevity.”
It is worth noting that the Misdemeanor Court of Cassation in Kuwait ruled yesterday evening, Sunday, to uphold Al-Aidan’s fine of 500 Kuwaiti dinars, for insulting Badir in a case that began two years ago, following a complaint filed by the latter accusing her of insulting and slandering him, and mocking him on her Instagram page and bullying him. He described him as “Al-Aqraa” when she published a picture of his daughter, “Sarah”, and praised her beauty, saying: “Mazza is the daughter of Al-Aqraa.”
