Finance Minister KN Balagopal’s personal staff members injured in a car accident in Tamil Nadu. Additional Private Secretary Mini and four others were injured. The accident occurred in Tenkasi around 4 pm. The car went out of control and hit a tree while returning from the sunflower field in Churanda. No one was seriously injured, the minister’s office said. The injured were shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College following initial treatment at Tenkasha.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are out of the BJP Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee. Parliamentary Board and Election Committee were reorganized by BJP National President JP Nadda. Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, K Laxman, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Sudha Yadav and Satyanarayan Jathia have recently joined the Parliamentary Board. The Parliamentary Board, which is the highest body at the organizational level of the BJP, has 11 members. Shahnawaz Hussain and Jewel Oram were dropped from the selection committee. Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reached the election committee. The selection committee has 15 members.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was conspicuously absent. The BJP’s Parliamentary Board is a crucial body that decides who holds key posts in the party, including chief ministers and state BJP presidents.

Jaipur: Rajasthan MLA resigns over Dalit student’s death following being beaten up by teacher Panachand Meghwal, Congress MLA from Atru constituency, has resigned. The resignation was handed over to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The MLA said that he was deeply saddened by the incident. He said that even following 75 years of independence, Dalits continue to be attacked.
“It pains me that Dalits are being exploited more than 75 years following independence. Even today the Dalit community has to fight for their basic rights. I am deeply saddened by the death of an innocent child in Jalore. I am unable to stop this oppression, so I am resigning as MLA.’- Panachand Meghwal said in his resignation letter to the Chief Minister. He also said that he will fight for justice for the family of the deceased child.
Indrakumar Meghwal (9), a student of a private school in Surana village of Jalore district, died following being brutally beaten up by the teacher for allegedly touching a container of drinking water for upper caste students in the school. Teacher Chail Singh (40) was arrested on charges of murder. The teacher beat the boy on 20th of last month. The boy was beaten on the face and ears and became unconscious. After a week of treatment in a hospital in Udaipur, he was taken to Ahmedabad. He died on Sunday while undergoing treatment there.

Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist who was assigned to kill BJP leader Nupur Sharma. Mohammad Nadeem from Kunda Kala village in Saharanpur, UP has been arrested. The anti-terrorism squad of the UP Police said that the 25-year-old man was in direct contact with the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist.
Police informed that Mohammad Nadeem was ready to go to Pakistan for weapons training and his phone records and messages were found. Nupur’s references to the Prophet caused protests and official complaints, including in the Gulf countries. Following this, Nupur Sharma was suspended from the post of BJP spokesperson.
