Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today (Monday), the National Center of Meteorology announced that the Riyadh and Sharqiah regions will be affected in the coming hours by a dust storm that causes a lack of horizontal visibility.
The center explained that the impact of the dust storm is expected to extend to the northern parts of the eastern region, specifically in Hafr Al-Batin, Qaisumah and Khafji, and the impact will also extend to the northern parts of Riyadh, including Al-Majmaah, Thadiq, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Ramah and Shaqra.
He pointed out that the dust storm, which causes a lack of horizontal visibility, is expected to move in the coming hours, towards the capital, Riyadh, and the neighboring governorates, as well as to the eastern governorates such as Jubail, Dammam and Dhahran, in addition to the eastern governorates of Al-Qassim.
It is noteworthy that the center expected that these areas will witness sandstorms that will cause a lack of horizontal visibility, starting from 7 in the morning today, until 7 in the evening in Riyadh, and until 10 in the evening in the Eastern Province.
