The Korea Imported Automobile Association (KAIDA) recently concluded its 30th Anniversary Photo Contest,showcasing the enduring bond between imported cars and Korean families.

The “My Family,My Car” contest,held from late May to late June,invited participants to share their precious memories. The focus was on capturing imported cars in the backdrop of everyday Korean life and family moments.

A total of 167 entries were submitted, each judged on suitability of the subject, expression, popularity, workability, and utilization.The competition aimed to celebrate three decades of imported cars in Korea.

The coveted first prize went to a heartwarming photo titled “Three mother and Daughter’s Love.” It beautifully depicted a soap bubble event created for a mother’s birthday, emphasizing the joy of traveling together.

Several other entries received recognition, including “Family Trip,” “A Car That Makes You Dream of Stars on the Mountain,” “Happy Journey with Companionship,” and “One Wonderful Day.” These captured various aspects of family adventures and daily life.

Winners were awarded a total of 5 million won in prize money. The first-place winner received 3 million won, while runners-up received national tourism vouchers or mobile gift certificates.

Chung Yun-young, Vice Chairman of KAIDA, expressed that the contest was a meaningful occasion. It provided a platform to highlight the cherished moments consumers share with their imported cars over the past 30 years.
