I can’t criticize my team following such a game. The first period was superb, it was harder in the second, we lost control of the ball, but it’s not easy once morest such a team. The defense as a whole had a good game, it was not just the goalkeeper who performed well. »

The evening of the French in the Champions League: Generous Dembélé, unhappy Griezmann
Lloris impeccable, Lenglet solid
Hugo Lloris (6) had a quiet evening in Frankfurt (0-0). He was impeccable on the rare balls he had to negotiate. He relaxes perfectly on his only stop to make, once morest Knauff (50th), he skillfully fends off a cross from Kolo Muani (19th) and he showed concentration in his few outings.
The Californian duel between the San Francisco 49ers, who played at home, and the Los Angeles Rams, defending champions, turned to the advantage of the first (24-9), Monday, during the final match of the fourth day NFL regular season.
The 49ers defense muzzled the Rams. The latter did not register any touchdown, Matthew Stafford, their quarterback, was sacked seven times and the interception he suffered was returned for a superb TD from 52 yards signed Talanoa Hufanga.
In attack, Deebo Samuel shone, on the side of San Francisco, registering another very beautiful long touchdown of 57 yards on reception. Both teams now have an identical record of two wins and as many losses, as do Arizona and Seattle, the other two teams in their division.
Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes win against Tampa Bay and Tom Brady
Tom Brady (Tampa Bay) and Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City) had not faced each other since the Super Bowl 2021, largely won by the first (31-9). Sunday, in Florida, the two fantastic quarterbacks finally met, on the occasion of the fourth day of the NFL regular season. And, this time, it was Mahomes and the Chiefs who won (41-31). Kansas City started off on the floor, helped by the loss of the ball from the “Buccs” from the kickoff. At the start of the second quarter, the visitors led 21-3. They were never reached.
Trevor Lawrence’s Nightmare
Tom Brady has yet signed a very good game with 385 yards gained and three touchdown passes. But the Buccaneers’ ground game was ridiculous, limited to just three short yards by the Chiefs’ defense. Patrick Mahomes, he threw 249 yards and three TD’s (plus an interception). Kansas City leads its division with three wins in four games. Tampa Bay has already lost twice in four outings, but is also first in its (weak) division.
Only one team is still undefeated: the Philadelphia Eagles. On Sunday, they won once morest the Jacksonville Jaguars (29-21), who remained on two convincing successes once morest Indianapolis and the LA Chargers. The Florida franchise also led 14-0. But Trevor Lawrence, the young and promising Jaguars QB, cracked, losing the ball four times. The hero of the victory was Miles Sanders, the Eagles runner, author of 134 yards and two touchdowns.
Buffalo victorious at the last second
Among the Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills, announced as the favorites to win the Super Bowl, have never led. Except at the last second, when a field goal gave them victory (23-20). Just before, Lamar Jackson, the Baltimore quarterback, had installed his team two yards from the in-goal. But he was then the victim of an interception. Infuriating. Especially when you consider the Ravens led 20-3 in the first period.
The Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints entertained the London crowd on Sunday followingnoon. The former won (28-25) at the end of the match reserved for kickers. Wil Lutz passed a monstrous field goal from 60 yards, allowing New Orleans to equalize at 25-25. But Greg Joseph put the Vikings back in front, on a more modest kick (47 yards). With 24 seconds to play, the Saints went for broke. And Lutz came back on the scene, for a long shot from 61 yards. Bad luck for him and his team: it was the posts that returned the ball, sealing the victory for Minnesota.
The running backs star
The Los Angeles Chargers won in Houston (34-24), not without some scares. They were leading 27-7 before the Texans came back to 27-24. But, at the end of the match, David Mills, the QB of Houston, was intercepted. The riders stood out: 131 yards for Dameon Pierce (Texans) and three TD’s for Austin Ekeler (Chargers). Houston is the only team yet to win a game this season.
The Seattle Seahawks beat the Detroit Lions (48-45). No fewer than 12 touchdowns were scored. Detroit was without runner D’Andre Swift and receiver Amon-Ra St Brown. But Jared Goff still passed for 378 yards and four TD’s. In Seattle, Geno Smith was also very good (320 yards) and Rashaad Penny galloped 151 yards. Finally the New York Giants dominated the Chicago Bears (20-12), carried by Saquon Barkley, their running back, who ran for 146 yards. The New York franchise has won three of its first four games. Unheard of since 2011. That year, she won the Super Bowl…
