The Meteorological Authority announced a map of weather phenomena expected for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, as meteorologists expected cold weather to prevail in the early morning, mild during the day in the north of the country, until north Upper Egypt is moderately hot in South Sinai and south Upper Egypt is cold at night in most parts.
Regarding weather phenomena, Cairo and the Gulf of Suez witness light rain in the evening, which may be thunderstorms by 30%, with the presence of a water mist, and the temperature is recorded at 20 degrees, and the south of Lower Egypt is witnessing light rains that may be medium and sometimes thunderstorms by 40%, with the presence of a mist, and a record of 40%. The temperature is 20 degrees.
The northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt are exposed to moderate rains, which may be heavy and sometimes thundery, with a rate of 60%, and the temperature records 19 degrees, and the Red Sea mountain ranges are exposed to light rains, which may be medium and sometimes thundery, at a rate of 40%, and the temperature records 23 degrees.

Al-Marsad_SPA newspaper: The National Center of Meteorology expected, in its report on the weather for today, that the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms, from medium to heavy, accompanied by active winds and showers of hail, leading to torrential rains in parts of the regions of Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah extending to Parts of the regions of Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf and the northern borders.
The sky will also be partly cloudy to cloudy, and the opportunity is ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions, as well as in parts of the Najran and Jazan regions.
While horizontal vision is affected by fog in parts of those areas, snowfall is not excluded in the highlands of the Tabuk region (Alaqan – Al Dhaher – Jabal Al Lawz), and the northern outskirts of the Kingdom.
