Archyde: Marc, you’ve set a scorching pace in FP1. What’s your initial reading of the track and your bike’s performance?
Marc Marquez: Thanks, first of all. I can say I’m really happy with how today went. The track is amazing, as always in Thailand, but the bike is working exceptionally well too.We made some good steps with the setup, and we’re ready to keep pushing.
Archyde: Your closest teammate, Francesco bagnaia, seemed to struggle a bit. Did you notice anything during the session, and what’s your take on his situation?
Marc Marquez: Yes, I saw that Pecco was having some difficulties, but I know him well, and I’m sure he’ll figure it out. Thes things happen in racing, and it’s all about finding the sweet spot on the bike.I’m confident he’ll bounce back strong.
Archyde: Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo was right behind you, finished third. What do you think about Yamaha’s progress, and are you expecting a tough challenge from them this season?
Marc Marquez: Yamaha has been strong last season too, so it’s no surprise they’re right up there. They’ve made some improvements, and they’re a team to watch, for sure. But I focus on my performance and our team’s progress. If we keep working like we are, we’ll be ready for any challenge.
Archyde: Looking ahead, what’s your goal for the rest of the weekend, and what can fans expect from you and your Ducati?
Marc Marquez: My goal is always to be at my best and give it my all. Fans can expect to see a lot of hard work and determination, not just from me but from our whole team. We want to keep this momentum going and give them something to cheer about.
