From the moment his first visit to Marseille on June 6, 2025 was announced, fans were expecting total success. Confirmation came this Wednesday morning, with tickets going on sale from 9am for this unique evening at the Orange Vélodrome, all sold out in just two hours.

This is why the British singer has just announced a new date at the stadium: it will be the next day, Saturday July 7, 2025. For this new concert of the “Mathematics tour”, the ticket office opened this Wednesday, July 10 at 2:30 p.m. There is no doubt that demand is likely to be very high once once more as soon as reservations open.

For his other French date next year, Ed Sheeran also met with commercial success: the concert of June 20, 2025 in Lille was sold out, the British singer will return to his quarters the following day at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium. Thus confirming his status as a big stadium machine, as he had shown with his double Stade de France in 2022, already as part of the Mathematics tour.

A tour during which the setlist evolved, with the release of two new albums last year. First “-” (also called subtract, to subtract in English) and Autumn Variations. If the second one was not very convincing, its predecessor saw several of its songs integrated into the concerts of the Halifax native. This is particularly the case for Boat and especially Eyes Closed, the main single of the album in which Ed Sheeran pays tribute to Jamal Edwards, his best friend who died following a heart attack in February 2022.

For the rest, the singer will resonate with his greatest hits in the Marseille lair, including Thinking out Loud, Perfect, Shivers and the essential Shape of You, his greatest success to date.

Tickets cost once once more between 29 and 150 euros and no VIP pricing is practiced by the artist, as a matter of principle. The Orange Vélodrome ticket office specifies that the precious tickets are only available in digital format and that “your smartphone will be your ticket“.
