In a market with more than 375 different vehicle models, it is normal for some vehicles to sell less well than others. This list brings together all the vehicles still officially on sale that have sold less than 10 units in Quebec during the first six months of 2022, either due to a lack of interest from consumers or a lack of availability from dealers. While some are, unsurprisingly, sports cars or elite cars, others are vehicles that should normally enjoy some popularity.

SCHÖNE STERNE® 2022: Visit from Florida (USA): The Patina Collective visits SCHÖNE STERNE – News – Mercedes fans
Since the beginning of the year, a Mercedes collection shrouded in mystery has been making the rounds in Mercedes circles. We are talking regarding the collection of the Patina Collective from Florida, USA. Behind them are three Mercedes fans who have now probably bought up to 300 Mercedes models and put them away.
The focus of their interest are AMG models from the so-called pre-merger era, i.e. the time when AMG was still independent and worked for Mercedes-Benz as a service provider. Also part of this collection are rare one-offs from the Mercedes tuners SGS, Gemballa, Brabus, König Special and others.
One of the three brand enthusiasts behind the collection is the German-American Anthony Boettcher, who will travel all the way from Florida to the SCHÖNE STERNE Mercedes Festival to look around and possibly buy more vehicles.
Strictly speaking, Anthony Boettcher is in Germany a little earlier to present the work of the Patina Collective at the SCHÖNE STERNE press conference.

While some complain that the market for Mercedes one-offs and special models is being bought practically empty, others are happy that the vehicles are now going back into the hands of enthusiasts and are not rusting towards their end in some barn and storage hall. Because no matter how ingenious the retrofitters used to be with the tin snips, rust prevention was not one of their strengths. Therefore, many of the purchased vehicles are to be restored to a respectable condition. “Rust never sleeps! If we don’t invest accordingly in one or the other model, there won’t be much left of it in a few years. So, where necessary, we bring them back to the condition in which they were handed over to the original buyer,” says Anthony Boettcher.
What exactly is to happen with this enormous collection – there was also talk of a museum – we may find out at the press conference for the Mercedes Festival SCHÖNE STERNE. In any case, it is very interesting to observe the appreciation that the models and tuning of the eighties and nineties are currently experiencing.

Dramatic search campaign on the idyllic Lake Lucerne in Switzerland!
An SUV fell regarding 50 meters down a narrow road by the water. The accident is likely to keep rescue workers busy for the whole week. Because experts have located the dark car at a depth of 182 meters, and all occupants are missing.
So far, the officials have been able to reconstruct at least parts of the accident: the car was driving on Axenstrasse near Brunnen (Canton Schwyz) around 12 noon on Sunday. Shortly following the Wolfsprung parking lot, the SUV touched the rock face to the right of the road, pulled to the left and then broke through a railing.

Incomprehensible: There is no crash barrier at the point where 80 km/h was allowed until the horror crash (now temporarily only 60). Local politician Bruno Storni told the 20min.ch portal: “The railing is for pedestrians so they don’t fall off. But it never withstands a car.” Not having set up a crash barrier there was “a serious mistake in terms of safety”.
Rescue workers have been looking for survivors for several hours – so far without success. Divers were also deployed, but might only descend to a depth of 40 meters. The police finally deployed a special boat with underwater cameras and sonar.

This enabled the car to be located on the bottom of the lake at a depth of 182 meters. However, according to local media, two crane ships left the scene of the accident without having done anything. The authorities confirmed on Tuesday evening that the rescue had been canceled. However, spokesman Florian Grossmann did not give a reason. Work will continue on Wednesday.
The plan is to first drag the wrecked car to a depth of around 30 meters, where divers can better search for victims. The SUV is then to be pulled into a protected area of Lake Lucerne in order to examine the car at leisure.

At least the investigators have an initial indication of the person or persons who went missing: a helper found a license plate at the crash site and the car is registered in Zurich.
How fast the SUV was traveling is part of the investigation. Swiss media write of “higher speed”. The impact once morest the rock face was so severe that a wheel came off and crashed into an oncoming car. His passenger was slightly injured.
The BMW M2 2023 will be the last of its line equipped with a purely internal combustion engine; and to finish things off in a big way, it recovers one of the best engines in the world, that of the M3 et M4.
BMW is currently completing, or so they say, the final dynamic tests of the new M2 generation. It is on the track of the Salzburgring, in Austria, that the exercises are done. The goal? Make it sportier than ever. We aim for nothing less than the exclusive M2 CS latest generation, that says it all.
Built on the G42 generation launched last year, it adopts an adaptive chassis that is more advanced than ever. Moreover, the tests carried out by the Bavarian manufacturer at the moment are aimed precisely at these components. BMW wants the driving experience to be exhilarating, especially on the track. To help her cause, she even salvaged the entire braking system from the M3 and M4.
The highlight of the show, however, is under the hood, the engine of the M3 and M4. It’s a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6. For now, BMW does not disclose the power. As it should be between 473 and 503 horsepower in the M3/M4, we should expect a slight drop to leave the primacy to its big sisters. It would not be utopian to believe that we will be close to 450 horsepower. BMW remains faithful, for one more lap, to the 6-speed manual gearbox. Naturally, an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic will be available as an option.

In the wake of these announcements, BMW reveals that it will be possible to opt for a carbon fiber roof to lighten it and reduce the center of gravity of the racing car. Same approach for the front seats. We know it, and BMW assumes it, weight is the enemy of performance. We’ll have to wait until October for the unveiling of the M2 to the world. Its production will begin in April 2023.
