Popularity that takes revenge and its performance varies in more than one stage during the events and in more than one way.

Hanan Mutawa has gained the trust of the public and critics and has become a “quality mark” for any work in which she participates, as she always bets on value and content, and although she has become one of the stars of the first row, she does not hesitate to accept a role in a group tournament, and this is what lured her in the series “Sarah Al-Bati'”. Which she talks regarding with enthusiasm, as she talks regarding the absolute heroism in the series “Generous Promises” in this interview with her.

At the beginning, Mutawa says: I was very excited regarding the series “Sorah Al-Bati’” because it is a work that completes the technical elements and combines the elements of its success, as it is taken from a novel by the writer Youssef Idris, and I am a fan of his writings, and it is also for a great film director, Khaled Youssef, who is in the series his first dramatic experiences, and work It brings together a large number of important names, which are difficult to gather in any other work, including Hussein Fahmy, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Ahmed Fahmy, Khaled Al-Sawy, Reem Mustafa, Menna Fadali, and others, and it is a historical drama during the period of the French occupation of Egypt, and it has modern lines, and I liked Very “Safia” character, because she is one of the combinations close to me.. a brave girl, patriotic and romantic as well.

• But during the series, do you give up the first championship that you reached in the series “Faces” last year?

– The first championship is an honor, and a strong step that I love, but it causes me great pressure, and what leads me to it is the production company that bets on my success, and in the series “Faces” the result was wonderful, so the company insisted on presenting me as the first heroine in the series “Generous Promises” that was shown in Ramadan, and I am happy with it, but in the series “Sorah Al-Bati’”, I am more comfortable, reassured and without pressure, because I am among a strong group of stars, and in a multi-line work, and I do not bear responsibility for it alone, and I have already experienced success like this, as happened two years ago in the series « Cairo – Kabul” with Tariq Lotfi, Khaled Al-Sawy, and Fathi Abdel-Wahhab.

Repeat the experiment

Regarding her enthusiasm for the series “Generous Promises”, she says: There was insistence from the production company to repeat the experience this year, and until lately there was no stability on the subject of the series that we are presenting. I am happy with the character, and what I do at work, and I believe that it gains the sympathy of the audience from the first episodes, and the series is a step added to me on the path to heroism and raises my shares and adds to my balance with the audience and critics.

• The series “Generous Promises” will run in 15 episodes..Do you take sides with the short drama?

– Indeed, I sided with this type of intense and far from prolonged drama, and I tried it last year in the series “Faces”, which we presented in two parts, each part consisting of 15 episodes, and that quality is what suits the show on digital platforms, and the audience favors it, but the decisive factor is always The content and the extent of the professionalism of the writing. There is a topic that can be presented in 7 episodes and cannot be more than that, and there is another topic that needs 45 or maybe 60 episodes or more. What is important to me is writing, quality and value.

• Is it important for you to be present during the Ramadan season?

– The series “Bit Al-Qabail”, which was shown several years ago, is what put me in the position of first-class stars, and following that the production companies bet on me to advance me in first tournaments, and it was shown in a season outside Ramadan, and I also had other successful experiences outside Ramadan, here the most important thing for me is The value of the work, its quality, and what I present during it, but when I have important work and a strong championship in Ramadan, this is a beautiful thing and adds to me, and it is an honor for me to compete among the stars and stars of the first class in the most important seasons of the year.

Concentration of choice

• But you guarantee the sympathy and enthusiasm of the audience and critics for you in advance, and this is clear in the past two years?

– This is what scares me a lot, terrifies me more, and makes me more responsible and makes me focus more on my choices. I do not like to let my fans down and I very much appreciate the bias of the media, critics and colleagues towards me, and I strive a lot to be of good opinion, and as I mentioned earlier, appearing in Ramadan amid all this crowd One of the stars is a great honor, and the competition was hot this year because there are so many strong names on the scene, and I personally am keen to follow the works of these people to learn from them.

As for the works that you are keen to watch this year, Hanan Mutawa says: Because of my preoccupation with filming the scenes of the series “Generous Promises”, which we were late in filming, I do not have time to follow up the Ramadan works from the beginning, but I will be keen to watch many important works in Ramadan, including “The Canto Market”.
