The new PlayStation Plus is upon us: the new Sony subscription will arrive on June 22 and, among the new proposals, we also find the possibility of trying the games for a limited period (only for Premium subscribers) . New information has leaked on the net regarding this feature for PS4 and PS5. As Game Developer reports, only games priced above $34 (regarding €33) will be forced to offer users a limited-time trial period: notably, the time players have must be at least two hours. However, these rules do not apply to previously released titles or PlayStation VR games. This trial version will therefore be essentially identical to the full game, but limited to only two hours. Some games may still offer a “custom” demo version with original content, but the “standard” trial version of at least two hours described above must always be provided. For teams of few people, creating the trial versions of the games will certainly take extra effort, but according to Kotaku’s Ethan Gach, there will be no need to worry: a team from Sony PlayStation will take care of creating timed versions of games.

After Pulp Fiction et Kill Bill : Volume 2actors Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman will once more be credited on the same credits with The Kill Rooma black comedy with tarantine overtones. Both were thus announced in the casting of The Kill Rooma dark comedy directed by Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving) from an original story by Jonathan Jacobson who will sign his first feature film script.

The Yale Entertainment-produced film will follow a hitman who accidentally breaks into the avant-garde art world following a money laundering operation that takes an unforeseen turn. So far, we knew that Uma Thruman will play a devious art dealer and Samuel L. Jackson the boss of the hitman, but no information had been revealed as to the actor who will take on the main role. According to Deadline, the main character will thus be embodied by Joe Manganiellorecently crossed over on Netflix in the disappointing Metal Lords.
The actor is also known for starring in Magic Mike and its sequel, Magic Mike XXLin the series True Bloodin the Zack Snyder’s Justice League where he briefly played Deathstroke, or in the trilogy Spider-Man of Sam Raimi where he camped Flash Thompson. He will also make a brief return to Netflix by lending his voice to one of the characters from the animated series. Army of the Dead : Lost Vegasanother spin-off of the film Army of the Dead by Zack Snyder.

Jackson must also take over the Nick Fury costume in the film The Marvels and the Secret Invasion series from Disney +, in addition to his role in Argylle, the next spy film from Matthew Vaughn. In its first season, Atlanta turned out to be an event, pocketing an astronomical amount of rewards. Donald Glover’s series thus depicted the daily life of two cousins, Earnest ‘Earn’ Marks, Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles, and their roommate Darius Epps. Against the advice of the FX channel, Donald Glover wanted to show the disenchanted daily life of a rising rap star, living in a small typical Atlanta shack, far from the bling-bling standards of the genre.
In between edgy soundtrack, comedic or downright weird moments and acidic portrayal of America, Atlanta offered a new proposal, both in substance and in form, and following a three-year break since its second season, the singular series announces its return following having already released a teaser a few weeks ago.
The series will return on March 24 on the FX channel with two episodes (among the 10 who will make up this third season). The sequel will be released one episode per week, and each episode will be available on the Hulu platform the day following it airs on FX. The trailer showed Paper Boi with his characteristic expressionless face, sporting a huge gold chain whose letters spelled out the term “counterfeit”.
The series had contributed to the success of its interpreters, Brian Tyree Henry thus participated in the Eternalsone of the most recent Marvel Studios productions, while the genius Zazie Beetz played an American cowgirl in The Harder They Fall, an energetic and nervous western from the Netflix platform. Let’s hope that this third season will give us reason to have waited 3 years to find the series which mixes Twin Peaks and Ludacris according to its creator.
Atlanta returns to the rap game from March 24 on FX and the next day on Hulu. For now, there is no more information to follow the series in France.
Epic Games has unveiled a new smartphone app that can create 3D models of objects from a series of smartphone images. The idea is to use an app called RealityScan to scan a real-world object such as a chair and insert the resulting model into a particular design or even a video game.
The app is currently available as a beta version for a select number of users via Apple’s TestFlight platform, which will provide the app to only 10,000 users. According to The Verge, using the app is very simple and easy.
It starts its work by taking pictures before the user needs to move slowly around the object to take different shots, and the app will ask you to take at least 20 pictures. Once the scanning is done, you can submit the model to be uploaded to Sketchfab, a 3D modeling platform. And you’ll be able to see your scan on the site following a few minutes.
On the other hand, some users noticed a difference between the shape of the models that they tried to make, compared to the models revealed by Epic in marketing the program, but the company attributed the matter to the different types of cameras used in the scanning process in Apple phones, due to the difference in accuracy between them.
