Actor Yanni Bourguignon Ties the Knot

yanni Bourguignon, the 26-year-old star of the popular VTM soap opera “Family,” recently married his longtime girlfriend kelly. The couple, who share a son and a daughter, had a civil ceremony with close family and friends.

“Especially for the ‘Family’-Fans,” wrote londerzeel’s first ships Gerda Verhulst on social media, sharing a photo of herself with the newly married couple. “And ladies, he is sold to this.”

Bourguignon proposed to Kelly in 2021 during a romantic vacation in Paris.Although they have already had their civil ceremony, the couple plans to have a larger festivity with friends and family in the future.

“We first opt for a civil marriage with our dense circle, we keep the big party too good. Until we have time and money for it,” Bourguignon has stated previously.

Last year, Bourguignon and Kelly took another major step in their relationship by purchasing a home together. Adding to his busy schedule, Bourguignon was recently featured in the Studio 100 spectacle musical “14-18,” playing the lead role alongside Jelle Cleymans. He made a triumphant return to “Family” just in time for the mid-season finale last month.

Archyde News caught up with the beloved VTM soap opera actor, Yanni Bourguignon, to discuss his recent wedding, upcoming projects, and more.here’s what he had to say:

Congratulations on your recent marriage, Yanni! Can you tell us a bit about the special day?

Yanni: thank you! It was indeed a special day. Kelly and I decided to have a civil ceremony with our close family and friends first. We want to keep the big celebration for later when we have more time and, well, money! [laughs] But the moment was perfect, just the way we wanted it.

How has family and fan support been since the news of your wedding broke?

Yanni: The response has been unbelievable! We’ve received so many congratulatory messages from our loved ones and also from ‘Family’ fans. Even Gerda Verhulst from Londerzeel’s first ships was there to celebrate with us, which made it even more special. It’s amazing to see how much support we have, and we’re truly grateful for it.

Looking back at your romantic proposal in Paris, what made that moment so memorable?

Yanni: Paris is a city that holds a special place in both of our hearts. The proposal was a surprise, but it felt so right. I think that’s what made it so memorable – the combination of love, surprise, and our shared history in that lovely city.

You recently returned to ‘family’ after starring in the Studio 100 spectacle musical ’14-18.’ How does it feel to be back?

Yanni: It’s always great to be back with the ‘Family’ crew. they’re like a second family to me, and I missed them while I was away.Playing the lead role in ’14-18′ was an amazing experience,but I’m excited to continue my journey with ‘Family.’ I think viewers can expect some interesting storylines coming up.

With your busy schedule, how do you manage to balance work, family, and personal time?

Yanni: It’s not always easy, but I think the key is open communication with Kelly and our kids. We make sure to set aside quality time for each other, even if it’s just for a few hours. Also, having a great support system helps a lot – my family, friends, and even my ‘Family’ castmates are always there to lend a helping hand.

What advice do you have for young actors trying to make it in the industry today?

Yanni: Stay true to yourself and keep refining your craft. The entertainment industry can be tough, but if you believe in yourself and keep learning, you’ll improve and grow. Also, don’t forget to appreciate the people who support and love you – they’re the ones who’ll be there for you, both on and off-screen.
