Pramono expresses Gratitude at Jakarta election Victory Thanksgiving
Jakarta gubernatorial candidate Pramono Anung-rano Karno expressed his deep gratitude for their victory in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Despite facing initial low electability ratings, the pair emerged victorious in a single round. Pramono, speaking at a thanksgiving reception hosted by volunteers in Central Jakarta on December 14, 2024, remarked, “Everyone will still remember, when Bang doel and I registered on August 28, our electability was only 0.1 percent. But with very strong determination, and I believe, I will definately be helped, helped by volunteers who worked hard like this. And my belief is clear evidence.” He had previously declined invitations to attend thanksgiving events until the Jakarta KPUD completed vote counting. Pramono’s decision to attend was further influenced by statements made by candidates Ridwan kamil – Suswono and Dharma Pongrekun -Kun Wardana, acknowledging their defeat. “So this is the first thanksgiving event that I have attended. In fact,so far I have not been willing to attend. but when the KPUD decided that even though they were waiting for a decision from the Constitutional Court, there was no lawsuit, especially as pair 01 and pair 02 had already given their words directly so that with “That’s why I’m willing to attend this thanksgiving event for the first time,” Pramono explained. Ammarsjah, the Head of Pramono-Rano winning volunteers, explained that the thanksgiving event was intentionally kept simple, in accordance with pramono’s wishes. “Today we are holding a thanksgiving. So this thanksgiving is a message from Mas Pram not to be extravagant. As basically this is not a victory for Timses, not just a victory for volunteers, but a victory for all DKI residents, all DKI residents,” Ammarsjah asserted. He praised the smooth running of the Jakarta Pilkada and commended the organizers for their professionalism.**Archyde News: Jakarta Election Victory**

**Pramono:**
Respect for the democratic process is paramount. I wanted to ensure every vote was counted transparently and that all candidates had the opportunity to pursue any necessary legal avenues. Once the Jakarta KPUD confirmed the results, and our rivals, Mr. Kamil and Mr.Pongrekun, graciously conceded defeat, I felt it was time to celebrate with the people.
