Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, said that the Corona virus epidemic is still spreading globally, and the number of infections has increased in Egypt regarding 10 days ago, most of them among members of the same family.
Taj El-Din added, during a telephone interview with “dmc news”, today, Saturday, that 95% of people infected with the Corona virus currently suffer from simple symptoms, most of which are very similar to the symptoms of a cold, a cold or a cold.
The advisor to the President of the Republic stated that the current symptoms are a high temperature, cracking in the body and a cold, and some few cases complain of a dry cough or sputum, and by communicating with the treating doctors, they write the appropriate treatment, and the vast majority of them recover.
He continued, “We have passed 5 previous waves of the epidemic, and I think we have started a new wave of corona infection, including a gradual increase in the number of cases until reaching the top or peak, following which cases decrease as happened before.”
Taj El-Din added, “Egypt has not canceled the precautionary measures and provided large quantities of Corona vaccines, and the use of masks, disinfectants and social distancing are important factors to prevent the spread of the disease.”
