Honda is a popular photographer today who has even held photo exhibitions, but in his early days he also took photographs using historical poems as models. Because of this connection, Shishi also appears at the photo exhibition, and Toru and Shishi meet there unexpectedly… He played an important role that would connect Tooru and the history of poetry once more.
Kamikawa co-starred with Nagase in the drama “Last Man: Blind Investigator” (TBS) that aired last year. He played the role of a career member of the National Police Agency and portrayed a father-son relationship with Nagase. Although their time together in this work was limited as they appeared as friends, she said: “Even though his appearance is filled with sadness, it delicately expresses the emotions of his inability to deal with his wavering feelings. » Nagase’s passionate performance in the lead. the drama role was highly appreciated. “I got to see a different side of him,” he said, narrowing his eyes as he watched his “son” become an actor.

It was a shame that my appearance was limited, but all I can say is that I was really happy to be asked to play.
–What was your impression of collaborating with Ren Nagase?
When I worked with Ren Nagase on “The Last Man: Blind Investigator” a year ago, I was impressed by the delicacy with which he portrayed a parent-child relationship with a feud between them in this role of a young man who falls into a relationship. an unforgivable love, his appearance is filled with sadness, and the way he delicately expresses the feeling of being unable to deal with his wavering feelings is completely different.
–What was it like playing the role of Takashi Honda, a photographer so popular he even held a photo exhibition?
Tooru probably won’t care much regarding Honda. However, I will never forget the photographs he took of the history of poetry. Honda’s words, which will be replayed at the same time Tooru remembers this photo, were played to make sense.
–Do you have any memories or episodes from Tokyo Tower?
Due to my work, I sometimes spend long periods of time in rural areas or abroad, but what always makes me feel like I’m back is the view of Tokyo Tower from the window on the train or inside the plane.
The final montage of the last episode of a certain drama. I still have wonderful memories of the photo shoot where Naomi Zaizen and I went up to the roof of the old special observatory, now called “Top Deck,” and exchanged a toast.
