Tamil Nadu opposition leader Edappadi Palanisamy arrested. He was arrested when he came to protest in Velluvarkottam, Chennai, bypassing the ban. Along with Edappadi, several Anna DMK leaders were also arrested. The strike is demanding that O. Panneerselvam be moved from the seat of the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly
