Tampa International Airport announced the temporary closure of the Blue Express arrivals and departures areas due to a police training exercise scheduled in the area.
The Tampa Airport Police Department, along with participating partners, will conduct an active threat response drill, which will take place between 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, and 2 a.m.
During exercise hours, the Blue Express arrivals and departures curves will be closed to the public. All guests and drivers are asked to use Blue’s regular arrival and departure lanes for drop-off and pick-up.
Blue Express tracks are expected to be reopened to traffic once the financial year concludes.
