In a recent declaration regarding the pan American Women’s Volleyball Cup to be held in Colima in 2025, Pacheco emphasized the importance of re-establishing volleyball’s presence at the Olympic Games. the sport has not seen Mexican participation in either the men’s or women’s categories as Rio 2016.
“We must strengthen indoor volleyball,” Pacheco urged. “It has been many years since either the female or male category has managed to qualify for the Olympic Games.”
