After six years together, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have called it quits. The “You Belong With Me” singer and the “Conversations with Friends” actor have called it quits despite dating for six great years. US media say the lovebirds left on good terms.
As a reminder, the two stars were quite discreet during their relationship and showed very little together in public. Engagement rumors had arisen a few months ago but the couple had denied them altogether.
. “If I had received a pound every time I was told I was engaged, I would have a lot of coins,” Joe Alwyn told WSJ Magazine. “The truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say it, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say it.”
In the past, the English actor had already explained why he did not want to display his relationship with the artist too much.
“It just doesn’t concern other people, assured the actor. I don’t know how to best talk regarding it. I mean, I’m aware of people’s interest but rumors don’t interest me. And I I have no interest in feeding them because the more it is fed, the more you open a door to intrusion,” he said.
