TC Teach: how to use the Twitter Wheel to create a group of friends

2023-04-28 16:01:00

Called Twitter Circle in foreign territory, the Twitter Wheels feature works very similarly to what we are used to seeing on Instagram with “Close Friends”, making it possible to make the network a little more intimate.

Simply put, the Twitter Wheel works like a closed group on the social network. With this option, instead of locking your account, you can add people to your circle and send publications only to selected members, increasing your privacy.

Here’s how to use the feature:

  • With Twitter open, tap to compose a new tweet;

  • Tap the option of “public” or “Anyone” located next to your profile picture;

  • In the new menu, under “twitter wheel”, tap “To edit”;

  • Now, in the “Recommendations”, search for the people you want to add to your close friends circle and tap the “To add” located on the side.

Now that you know how to use the wheel on Twitter, add your friends to your closest circle and share with them – in a much more intimate way – your thoughts, experiences and, of course, memes.
