Ten migrants were discovered in a refrigerated truck this Friday morning. This happened in the Thieu area, along the E19/E42 motorway, in Hainaut. It was the truck driver who alerted the police. There are five women and five men. These Eritreans were taken care of by a medical team.

“Arriving there, we discovered 10 migrants who were inside this refrigerated truck. We carried out the necessary humanitarian duties to ensure that their health was good. Which is the case. Luckily, these people are healthy and safe. The continuation of the file is being taken up by the Aliens Office at present”, explains Fabrice Kairet, police commissioner responsible for the “patrol and surveillance” cell of the Hainaut road police.
