Kevin Wade O’Neal, 54, of Old Fort, Tennessee, faces serious charges following his arrest on Friday. He is accused of attempting to kill nine sheriff’s deputies and detectives with an explosive device during his apprehension at his home.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was enforcing arrest warrants for O’Neal.These warrants were related to allegations that he had threatened to kill Polk County law enforcement members and public officials.
