Teófila Vildoso, pioneer of alfajores in the province of Islay, died

The promoter of the Vildoso alfajorería, Teófila Vildoso Juárez, ceased to exist this Sunday, March 5.

His remains were veiled today Monday in the place where for a long time he sold his honey alfajores, delicacies and pencos in the La Curva sector, the mass for the body present was in the San Isidro Labrador de Deán Valdivia church and surrounded by the most close, friends and neighbors was transferred to the General Cemetery of Mollendo.

Vildoso Juárez is recognized for having placed the town of La Curva as an unmissable destination for visitors who from all over Peru and abroad have come to her alfajorería to enjoy her products.
