Passengers arriving at New York’s JFK Airport from Barbados were in for a nasty surprise. During the landing, the plane tilted sharply backwards, with the head of the plane remaining suspended three meters above the ground.
The cause would be a “change in weight and balance” during disembarkation, causing this fall backwards. The scene was astonishing to see from the outside.
Inside the plane, the staff then called for the passengers to calm down: “Move slowly and little by little towards the center of the plane.”

It is easy to imagine that the situation must have been very stressful for the passengers, especially since aircraft-related incidents are a great fear and anxiety for many people.

Fortunately no one was injured during the incident and all passengers were able to be evacuated safely. It is easy to imagine their relief following this stressful adventure which they will undoubtedly remember.
