It’s official. Meeting on Friday morning, Orange’s board of directors appointed Christel Heydemann to the position of general manager of the operator. This 47-year-old polytechnician, currently European boss of Schneider Electric, will therefore replace, from April 4, Stéphane Richard, who had submitted his resignation at the end of November following his conviction in the Tapie case.

On Twitter, Stéphane Richard hailed “a woman whose professional and human qualities will enable her to meet the challenges that await the group”.
