This Monday, August 15, around 9 a.m., a truck carrying wood overturned on the A9, shortly following leaving Vevey towards Valais. He lay sideways, completely blocking the tracks. The motorway is therefore closed between Vevey and Montreux.
The cantonal police strongly advise to go out to Chexbres, traffic being very difficult between Chexbres and Vevey. A detour route is set up. According 20Minutes, the driver and his passenger were slightly injured in the accident where the truck is the only cause. Specialists are on hand to clear the tracks.
