The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland H.E. Dr. Machei Shimanski discussed the possibilities and areas for closer cultural cooperation with the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov.

The reason for the visit of the first diplomat of Poland to Burgas is the opening at 18:00 of the author’s exhibition “Birds in Bulgaria through the eyes of a Pole” at the Center for Contemporary Art and Library. The first diplomat of Poland said that this was his first official visit to Burgas, but he visited the already protected area of ​​Poda to photograph the birds there. Mayor Nikolov shared with his guest the desire of Burgas to benefit from the experience of Poland in the field of telemedicine in order to expand and upgrade the system that will be launched soon in the seaside city. His Excellency Dr. Szymanski stated that a telemedicine conference with the participation of Polish companies is expected to be held soon in Sofia. During the meeting, the possibilities of holding various cultural events in the summer related to the presentation of traditional Polish culinary dishes, exhibitions and concerts were also discussed, since at that time Burgas was visited by many Polish and foreign tourists.
