Neyyatinkara (Thiruvananthapuram) ∙ While demolishing an arch erected illegally across the road, a scooter passenger mother and daughter were seriously injured. Biju’s wife Lekha (44), a nurse at Pozziyur Family Health Center, and daughter Anusha, a 10th class student of Vishwabharati School, were injured in Poozhikunn.
Lekha’s lips and chin were deeply cut. There is also a crack in the skull. The teeth were loose. The lungs were also damaged. Anusha’s nose was the main injury. Both are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital.
