The president Iulia Syrokosta-Stathopoulou and the Board of Directors of the Association of Friends of Clinical Rehabilitation Univ. General Hospital of Patras, express their sorrow for the loss of the founding member of our association, Monica Solomou.
Patras: The lovely Monica Solomou has passed away – A person of love and giving
After a brave battle in which she gave with dignity the patience and calmness that always characterized her, she passed away leaving an irreplaceable void in her family and also in our association, which tirelessly supported the effort for the full development of the Patient Rehabilitation Clinic with Spinal Cord Injuries of the University General Hospital of Patras.
Until the end of her life, she marched with the flag of volunteerism and love for fellow human beings.
The “Association of Friends of the Clinical Rehabilitation of Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries of P. G. N. Patras “Dimitris and Vera Sfika”” expresses its warm condolences to her children and relatives.
With respect to the family’s decision, the Board of Directors of the Association of Friends of Clinical Rehabilitation Univ. General Hospital of Patrons decided instead of a wreath to deposit the amount of 100 euros in favor of the Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Disease “FLOGA”, an association which was supported in various ways by the late Monica Solomou and to attend the board’s delegation at the funeral procession that will be held on Monday, September 23 at Holy Church of Agios Andreas, at 2 p.m.
