The Deputy Ministry of Justice of the Basque Government is going to incorporate 42 new positions into its civil service structure in order to improve the public service offered to citizens in the judicial headquarters of the three territories and reduce temporary employment. Nine of these places will be newly created, as explained by the Minister for Equality, Justice and Social Policies, Beatriz Artolazabal, who recalled that in This legislature is expected to create and put into operation new courts in the Bilbao judicial district, one for Social and another for First Instance.
Specifically, the Basque Government is going to create eight new places to provide an organic staff to the future Court of First Instance nº 16 of Bilbao. Three of the positions correspond to the Body of Procedural and Administrative Management, four to the Body of Procedural and Administrative Procedures and one to the Body of Judicial Aid. In addition, to carry out the tasks of personal secretary of the president of the Provincial Court of Álava, a position of free appointment of the Body of procedural and administrative processing will be created.
According to Artolazabal, “33 of the newly created squares will consolidate the staff position so far eventually, after being linked to it for three years «. With this decision, the Executive will allow “all these people to become part of the organic structure of the department with the same working conditions as the rest of the staff”.
Ten consolidation positions for workers with temporary contracts will correspond to the Judicial Aid Corps: four in the Vitoria-Gasteiz judicial office (Common General Procedural Service), three in Bilbao (Senior Court-Government Office and other common services), two in Donostia-San Sebastián (Provincial Fiscal Office of Gipuzkoa and Common General Procedural Service) and, finally, one in Barakaldo (Common General Procedural Service).
Likewise, 16 positions of the Procedural and Administrative Processing Corps will pass to the structure of the Department. Specifically, five will be in Vitoria-Gasteiz (UPAD Civil), two in Donostia-San Sebastián (UPAD Civil and Common Execution Procedure Service), two in Azpeitia (UPAD Unipersonal Mixed Organizations), three in Bilbao (Court of 1st Instance No. 14-Family, Criminal Court No. 6 and Criminal Court No. 7-enforceable), two in Barakaldo (UPAD Penal), one in Durango (UPAD Mixed Unipersonal Bodies) and another in Getxo (UPAD Mixed Unipersonal Bodies).
Another four positions correspond to the Body of Procedural and Administrative Management. Two of them will be for the Vitoria-Gasteiz judicial body (UPAD Civil), one in Barakaldo (UPAD Civil) and another in Getxo (UPAD Mixed Unipersonal Organs). Finally, another three positions that are going to be consolidated correspond to the Corps of Forensic Doctors. One of them will be in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Álava Sub-directorate), another in Donostia-San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa Sub-directorate) and another in Bilbao (Bizkaia Sub-directorate).
