Although they failed to qualify for the grand final, they did play their last game. This Saturday the 17th the third place of the World Cup Qatar 2022 in between Croatia vs. Morocco at the Khalifa International Stadium. The Croats and Moroccans lost to Argentina and France, respectively, in the semifinals.

The victory went to the European side with goals from Gvardiol (7′) and Orsic (42′), while the Africans partially tied through Dari (9′). The Croats are back on the World Cup podium following being second in Russia 2018.
