A terrible accident occurred on the Dokki Bridge in the center of Giza, on Thursday, when two passenger buses collided and one of them crossed the side barrier.
The sheriff of the Dokki Police Department received a signal from the Rescue Police Department that an accident had occurred at the top of the Dokki Bridge, amidst complete paralysis of traffic.
Traffic men moved to the Al-Balagh place in coordination with the Central Division, and it was found that a bus collided with another from the rear, coming from Giza towards Mohandessin and the beginning of the October Bridge, which caused the front to collide with the side iron barrier.
The first pictures from the scene of the accident showed that the bus had crossed the “bus on air” barrier.
