Following the announcement of the management of H & M to close four new stores, the CNE announced this Tuesday morning to file a strike notice: “Faced with the pressure of the workers of H&M, negotiations were set up but they remain insufficient in our opinion, ”explains the CNE in a press release. “In the proposed plan, a more restrictive procedure is missing to save as many jobs as possible through internal reclassifications”.
The CNE therefore takes its responsibilities by submitting a strike notice. In the coming days, assemblies and work stoppages will take place in several stores. National days of action will take place in the coming weeks.
Here are the stores concerned: 1 COS Liège, 1 COS Brussels, 2 H&M in the center of Antwerp in addition to H&M Liège, H&M Anspach, H&M Gent and H&M Charleroi.
