Rudman apologetically explained that he shared a friendship and did not know that it would inconvenience them. ‘We ministers have a habit of exchanging warm friendship with each other. Apologies if it inconvenienced anyone. We saw each other while taking photos together because the flight was delayed. I don’t know how some people look at it. Some may find it strange. We are neighbors. It was a very good conference.’- Croatian media reported quoting Radman.

A video of the foreign ministers meeting for a photo shoot was circulated on social media. In this video, Gordon Grillik Rudman is seen kissing Annalena Bierbock. The incident became controversial following the footage went viral.
