Representative Jamil Al-Sayyed tweeted on his Twitter account, writing, “The country of wonders, because we are in the season of presidential elections. As soon as the kidnapping of the Saudi citizen took place, conspiracy theories poured in from all sides, and some of them, when the kidnapping took place, reached out to say that it was a process inspired by Hezbollah.” To put pressure on Saudi Arabia and enhance Franjieh’s chances for the presidency.

He added, “Then, as soon as the kidnapped was liberated at the hands of the army, they said it was a staged kidnapping in advance in order to enhance the chances of the army commander for the presidency and the chances of the interior minister to head the government.”

And he continued, “The important thing is that God Almighty saved Lebanon from the theories of its children. Otherwise, imagine if the kidnapped person had not been found alive and quickly. The greatest misfortune for a person is for himself to move his tongue before his mind, and it is not a coincidence that God put the mind above the tongue and not below it.”
