Local Volleyball Stars Honoring a Legend
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the CSFM-Ball club received the Orne Cut Young People-Christophe-Rohee tournament in a grand celebration of the sport. The event took place at the Lycée des Andaines and the Jacques-Brel college in Ferté-Macé, Orne. This marked the second consecutive year the competition has been held, following its inaugural edition in 2024 at Flers.
Tournament Highlights and Technical Excellence
Nearly 78 young volleyball players gathered from various clubs including Argentan, Flers, and Alençon, along with the host club Ferté-Macé Volleyball, to participate in this second edition of the tournament.
“It is with great pride that we welcome this competition, which pays tribute to Christophe Rohée, a local figure of volleyball who died in 2018. He was an emeritus player and president of the club of Flers, secretary general of the Basse-Normandie League, active in the Orne committee, and much more,” said Armelle Journet, the club president.
