Al-Marsad Newspaper: The famous Iraqi artist, Amal Abbas, passed away today, Friday, at the age of 63, following a long struggle with illness.
The journalist and a member of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association, Nayef Al-Shammari, explained, through his account on Instagram, that the late artist was taken to the hospital several days ago and suffered from a coma, saying: “The artist Amal Al-Abbas was a few days ago, she inaugurated Mubarak Hospital, entered into a coma, suffered from liver poisoning, and died clinically.” 4 or 5 days ago, it was a clinical death, and shortly before the doctor announced her death officially.
The late artist resides in the State of Kuwait, and began her artistic career in the early eighties of the last century, by appearing in some television roles, most of which were in Kuwaiti works.
