CRITIQUE – In a series in four episodes, Jalil Lespert clinically describes the fall of the former managing director of the IMF. A film with unpublished testimonies from investigators and in which the alleged victim, Nafissatou Diallo, delivers his truth.
Reading a court case, however resounding it may be, is a prisoner of time and often hostage to its circumstances. No doubt this is why Jalil Lespert decided to reopen the DSK case nine years after the events. A Sofitel case which, it must be remembered, has never been tried: a financial agreement was concluded between the chambermaid Nafissatou Diallo and Dominique Strauss-Kahn, her alleged attacker on May 14, 2011 (she would have received a million and a half dollars to stop the lawsuits).
