The EESCs of Morocco and Senegal determined to strengthen bilateral and multilateral partnership

During this meeting, which is part of a visit to Morocco from February 8 to 12 by a delegation from the EESC from Senegal, the two parties expressed their determination to continue their efforts to strengthen cooperation mechanisms between the economic and social councils and similar institutions of African countries, in particular within the UCESA whose presidency is currently held by Morocco, according to a statement from the CESE.

The EESC of Morocco hosted a delegation from the EESC of the Republic of Senegal, led by its president, Idrissa Seck. The visit is part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the two institutions, said the same source.

In addition, the delegation, including in particular the vice-president of the ESEC of Senegal, Moustapha Ndiaye, also met, during his stay, with the head of government and the president of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM ) on subjects of common interest such as mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, promoting scientific research or stimulating exchanges between African countries, the press release concludes.
