The Egyptian pound touches its lowest level in 5 and a half years against the dollar | latest news

On Monday, July 18, the Egyptian pound recorded its lowest level in five and a half years, following declining by 0.05% during today’s trading.

Refinitiv data showed that the Egyptian pound reached the level of 18.91 pounds once morest the dollar by 08:18 GMT today, down from the level of 18.81 recorded on Sunday.

The last time the Egyptian currency touched that level was on January 24, 2017.
