The Ministry of Health and Population warned of licorice for patients with kidney, pressure and heart.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the Ministry of Health said that licorice is one of the most drinks that increases potassium in the body, and potassium is the first enemy of a kidney patient.
And she continued: “Patients with kidneys, pressure and heart are forbidden to drink licorice.”
