The TNT television channel on its social network page published the first shots from the remake of the popular comedy “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession.” It is noted that work on the project is now “in full swing.”

The new version of the film is being shot in the genre of musical comedy and will be released under the title “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Everything” on New Year’s Eve.

The film is starring Philip Kirkorov, Demis Karibidis (Shurik), Timur Batrutdinov (Ivan groznyj), Maxim Lagashkin (Miloslavsky), Olga Buzova (female manager Bunsha), Marina Kravets (wife Shurika — actress), Pavel Derevyanko, Garik Martirosyan, Pavel Volya and many other stars.

Once once more, Shurik will try to return Tsar Ivan the Terrible to his time, “but the insidious VPN on which the miracle machine runs will constantly break down and move the heroes to different countries and times, where they will accidentally or intentionally change the past.”

The film will also contain many references to popular Soviet comedies, modern TV series and music videos.

As reported EADaily, a year earlier, TNT filmed a remake of another Soviet hit, “Self-Irony of Fate,” which was also released on New Year’s Eve. A meeting of friends in a bathhouse led to unexpected consequences. Roles performed in the film Timur Batrutdinov, Garik Martirosyan, Philip Kirkorov, Azamat Musagaliev, Olga Kartunkova, Mikhail Galustyan, Pavel Volya, Olga Buzova and other popular comedians and actors.
